Manual Payment Method Now Available for E-commerce Stores

This update enables buyers to select a manual payment option at checkout and settle their bill in person, providing more flexibility for payment collection.

What’s New?

  • Manual Payment Options: Store owners can now set up manual payment methods such as Cash on Delivery or Custom Payment Methods.
  • Flexible Payment Collection: Collect payments in-person at pickup or delivery.
  • Order and Payment Tracking: Easily record and manage manual payments through the Orders menu.

How to Use

Set Up Manual Payment Methods:

  1. Go to Payment > Integrations > Manual Payment Methods.
  2. Select Cash on Delivery or create a Custom Payment Method.
  3. Add optional Payment Instructions and Messages if needed.
  4. Enable manual payment methods for either Order Forms or E-commerce Stores.
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Collect Payments For Manual Payment Method Orders:

  1. After receiving an order, go to Payment > Orders.
  2. Select the order and click Collect Payment.
  3. Choose the Payment Mode from the dropdown and add optional notes.
  4. Once marked as paid, the transaction status will update accordingly.

Notes:

  • Manual payment methods are available only with an existing payment integration.
  • Manual payment options are not available for recurring products.
  • Payment collection is final and cannot be reverted once marked as paid.
  • Manual payment methods will only appear at checkout if enabled.
