We’ve added Image Zoom Options on the Product Details Page, making it easier for customers to view product images in detail. Store owners can now decide how images behave when interacted with.
What’s New:
- No Zoom: Default setting with no zoom interaction.
- Click & Hover Zoom: Customers can click or hover to zoom into specific areas.
- Open Lightbox Zoom: Clicking opens a fullscreen view with zoom controls and navigation.
Why it matters:
This feature enhances product presentation, allowing customers to better evaluate products by inspecting finer details directly on the product page.
How it works:
To use this feature, open your Store and edit the Product Details Page. Select the Product Details element and find the Image Zoom option in Layout Settings. Choose your preferred zoom behavior: No Zoom, Click & Hover, or Open Lightbox. Save and publish your changes.
Note: Zoom applies only to product images, not videos. Click & Hover Zoom is best on desktops, while mobile devices adapt for touch interaction.
