We’ve made checkout smoother by automatically sorting shipping options by price on our e-commerce platform. The cheapest shipping rate is now pre-selected, making it easier for customers to choose the best option.
What’s New:
- Shipping rates are sorted from lowest to highest price.
- The cheapest option is selected automatically.
- If free shipping is available, it’s prioritized and selected by default.
- Shipping rates update dynamically if changes occur in the cart or address.
Why it matters:
This update simplifies the checkout process, reduces confusion, and helps customers quickly find the most affordable shipping option. It enhances the overall shopping experience by minimizing decision-making friction.
How it works:
- All checkout flows automatically apply this sorting and selection.
- If only one shipping rate is available, it will be selected automatically.
- If multiple options have the same price, the system maintains the provider order.
- No setup is needed; this feature is active by default.
