Connecting Google to your Kraken Business Suite™ is more flexible now, but it can sometimes leave important permissions unchecked, which might cause issues with features like Google Business Profile. We’ve added some improvements to help resolve these quickly.
What’s New:
- Permissions Checkboxes: When integrating Google, you’ll see permissions (scopes) with checkboxes. We recommend selecting all.
- Warning Badges: If any required permissions are missing, you’ll see a warning on the Google integration card.
- Details Screen: A list showing which permissions are missing and which features are affected.
- Reconnect Option: Easily re-run the Google connection to add missing permissions.
Why it Matters:
- Decreases confusion when Google shows as connected but doesn’t work fully with Kraken Business Suite™.
- Allows you to fix common issues without needing to contact support.
- Reduces the need for escalating problems.
How it Works:
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Google.
- If you see a warning, click the message and check missing permissions and affected features.
- Click Reconnect and follow the Google consent screen to allow additional permissions.
- Go back to the integration page to ensure the warning is cleared.
