Now you can set an expiry date for your documents. Once a document expires, the recipient can’t sign it anymore.
What’s New:
– You can set document expiry either for your whole account or individually for each document. It’s turned off by default.
– Set Expiry in Days: Choose how many days a document is valid after it’s sent. The countdown depends on your timezone.
– Automatic Expiry: When a document expires, it’s marked expired and recipients can no longer sign. They’ll be informed to contact you for further action.
– Dashboard View: Check the “Expires In” column to see how long each document has until expiration.
– Expiry information is clearly displayed to signers.
– Reminder Notifications: Enable email and app notifications for recipients 1 day before the document expires. Customizable at both global and document levels.
– Custom Reminder Emails: Tailor the subject and content of reminder emails to fit your brand’s style.
Why it Matters:
This feature helps legal, HR, and compliance teams set deadlines for document signing, reminding signers and managing expirations efficiently. It prevents old documents from being signed, ensuring urgency and compliance in your operations.
